Grace was born in San Francisco in 1990, and grew up across the bay in Oakland. They studied English literature, acting, psychology, and education in college, and came to textile art and quilting in 2018.

As an artist and writer, they're typically exploring themes of grief, mental health, esoteric spirituality, community, family, gender identity, and processes of internal reconciliation.
